Beautiful beach with men, women, and family restrooms. Limited pay parking. Low tide is amazing with a long walk to the ocean.

Beautiful beach when the tide is low! The reflection of the sky on a thin sliver of water at sunrise is amazing.

This Beach is always so nice, it's a 5 minute walk from my Aunt's House. And I've been going to this Beach for Years. I love how it's family friendly, clean, and you get some Gorgeous Views of the Ocean as well.

A surprisingly beautiful new England beach. The sand and rocks stretch far along the water with enough space for everyone to enjoy a summer beach day. The road alongside the beach provides good parking and a row of traditional restaurants and Cafes are a perfect spot for lunch or quick smoothie. Surfing is a beloved activity here too. A great place to spend the day.

Great beach. Need to arrive early to secure parking in the lot which is not free. Free parking can be found on the side of Ocean Blvd but up the road from the lot. No parking on the local side streets. Very clean bath house available. Food available for purchase at businesses across Ocean Blvd. Beach is very wide and flat at low tide. Good to know when high tide and low tide are. Surfers can surf all times. Best beach in the Town of Rye, NH.

The State Beach parking lot, though very reasonably priced with an hourly charge, is very small and it's difficult to get a spot. We were lucky, though and found something our second time around, probably because it was a week day. There is more parking along some sections of roadway, that also provide access to the beach, for which it seemed there was no charge, but one would have to walk a much longer distance to get access to the sand and the restrooms The bathrooms, change rooms and outside showers were in great shape and provided welcome comfort areas. There are also 2 bubblers to drink from. The beach is clean, flat and sandy. Not rocky. Also, barely any waves!
